Pete Puma drives to the basket and finishes strong.  Another excellent color pass by the Gigglesticks master.   In other news, yes, Pete did destroy me in Guitar hero Battle mode but in Face off mode I took 4 out of 7.  The apprentice has become the master.

Is that a light at the end of the tunnel? Anyway work continues. We now have a completed revamped storyboard and lots of bgs sketches and flash cleanups.

Don't worry your pretty little heads, we're still in business. There have been layoffs, reunions, weight loss, fires and floods but we are still tinkering along. I dramatically retooled the storyboard reducing the bg count and hopefully making things run smoother. Meanwhile we've done our first 4Leagues freelance job and we're planning a website and even our next 2 projects.

I'll put up some artwork in the next post.

Hey, we're still going strong despite setbacks, vacations, and freelance obligations. We have almost all of the characters designed and flashed out, we're working on the character turns and the rest of the bgs.

2NAVIGATORS+1

We've been searching for a title for this little project. Our original title "SUBhumans" sounded a little negative. We've been kicking around nautical terms , the characters names maybe a name for the sub, and nothing has been standing out. The other day I was driving home and heard a Gorillaz song with the word "navigate" in the rap. I called Pete and suggested "Navigators" Pete's reply "Yeah I like it . It sounds all epic and sh*t" Classic.

The next day I changed the title to "2Navigators+1" since there are 3 characters. (sorta like the Firehouse 5 +2)

We're hoping to zero in on the Bg color treatment soon, Pete is finishing up the character flash files and I've got a lot of bg layouts to do. The board and the animatic are done and we have some people to do the voices. This will be a 2 minute teaser set up like a movie trailer. There is a story that gets told, though. We're hoping to show this around when it is finished but right now we just wanta do something cool and fun.

We're working on a small flash animated short. The story is about 2 guys and a submarine. We started about 2 months ago and are hoping to finish up at the end of May or June. We'll be posting some of the artwork as we go along.
